How to Apply

Please note these CPD programmes are only available to the staff of the hospital where they are run.

UCARD is the official identification card for students and staff at UCD. Once a student receives a UCARD, a library account appears on the system the following day.

If you wish to get a Student ID/UCARD you will need to upload a photo as part of the application/registration process.

Once all students are registered to the CPD course, we will request the UCARDs from the UCARD Bureau and send the cards to the CPD contact for your hospital/organisation.

If you do not upload a photograph during your Course Application, you can still apply for a UCARD.

  • You can get your photo taken on campus at the UCARD Bureau itself (you will need to have your student number and photo ID to hand)
