Fetal Monitoring and Maternity Crisis Management e-learning modules

During your midwifery programme you will be asked to complete four fetal monitoring modules. You are free to revisit these at any time over the course of your training. You will also have access to a number of maternity crisis management modules which will assist you in your learning.

Neonatal Resuscitation Programme

All student midwives will be trained in neonatal resuscitation. As part of this programme you will be asked to complete an online examination via Healthstream. You will be provided with access details for this examination, along with a textbook.

  1.  Click register and enter your personal details
  2. Location:  select Health Service Ireland > Univeristy College Dublin>School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems
  3. Job Role: select student > Nursing and Midwifery > Student Midwife
  4.  Under Job Role Tab: Click Nursing and Midwifery, select Midwifery, select Midwife
  5.  For your identification number enter your NMBI PIN
  6. Click Next
  7. Enter Identification number: Enter your NMBI PIN
  8.  Click: Login to access the learning materials
