Policy Brief: Addressing Health and Wellbeing Challenges for Homeless Children and Families Living in Temporary and Emergency Accommodation

Dr Kate Frazer @ucdsnmhs and colleagues, Prof Thilo Kroll Dr Gillian Paul and Ms Xuefang Alterman, have produced a Policy Brief report aimed at policymakers focusing on the impact on health for Children born into and living in temporary and emergency accommodation.

Policy Brief Title: Addressing Health and Wellbeing Challenges for Homeless Children and Families living in Temporary and Emergency Accommodation

The Policy Brief presents a summary from a workshop held in October 2019 in The Mansion House, Dublin supported by @UCDDublin seed funding.  Principal findings centre around the need to create child-friendly, safe, regularly inspected, and developmentally appropriate accommodations and assistance for families to navigate supports available to them.
